Managing Users
Understand the role based access control in CourseLit and learn how to administer users.
Every user will have certain privileges depending upon the role assigned to her. CourseLit has three roles which are as follows.
1. Admin
This user can perform site administration tasks like making customisation to the look and feel of the site, administering other users etc. This user can also do all other tasks that the subsequent types of the users can do.
2. Creator
This user can create courses and upload media content.
3. Normal user
This user can browse the website, take courses and read articles.
Administering users
Login with an admin
account at https://your-domain.com/create
and go to the Users
section. From there you can manage your users.
The very first user who signs up for an account after a fresh installation, automatically becomes an admin user.
